Cattle Track Talks

Join us in the CattleTrack Gallery for a stimulating hour with creative and innovative members of our community.  Presenters/performers will share their expertise and engage in lively conversation with the audience.

Tuesday, April 9th, 2024, 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

CattleTrack Talks will feature
Amanda Ventura, Waymo Public Affairs Manager

Waymo – Saving Lives and Increasing Independence

Waymo launched the world’s first fully autonomous ride-hailing service, Waymo One, in Metro Phoenix in 2020. Waymo One serves 225 square miles, including Sky Harbor International Airport, making it home to the world’s largest ride-hailing service.

Join us as Amanda Ventura describes the mission of Waymo, an autonomous driving technology company whose goal is to make it safe and easy for people to get where they’re going. From learning the purpose of the spinning sensors on Waymo’s electric Jaguars to how the technology is being deployed to help people who are blind get to and from work, you’ll get a better understanding of how Waymo can save lives, increase independence and improve mobility access.

CattleTrack Arts and Preservation supports local artists, craftsmen, and students in our commitment to preserving Scottsdale’s unique cultural heritage. We look forward to seeing the CattleTrack family for this 2023-24 season of CattleTrack Talks.
